How smart is Artificial Intelligence (AI) nowadays? What kind of creative pictures can a machine create? I liked to test the output when AI creates an image with the title "this is not an apple". Or with something less concrete like "this is not artificial intelligence". The generated images I edited and animated.

The final result is a mix of a future scenery and simultaneously - due to the frame and the grid - something from the past. The slight animation breathes life into the picture. AI is a contemporary witness of our society.

This is not america

27 images were created by in 2021 and minted 2022. Now we know that the output of AI-generated images are completly different than two years ago.
